Alison Ann Sweeney was born in the US. The actress is also an actor and reality show host. Sweeney has become best-known for her role as Samantha Sami Brady from the NBC soap Opera Days of Our Lives. She played the role under a contract between the 6th of January 1993 to October 30th the year 2014. Sweeney eventually decided she was tired of popular fads such as grapefruit diets and cabbage soup in 1999. She renounced fads like the grapefruit or cabbage diets.
